Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga
Hatha yoga is the traditional type of yoga that focuses on physical Asana, breath and meditation. It’s involves slower paced mindful movement which is more suitable for beginners to build strength, flexibility, alignment and knowledge of poses. All classes are between 60 minutes and 90 minutes long.
Vinyasa yoga is a more demanding style of yoga than Hatha yoga. It’s involves a faster paced movement between poses and poses are only held for only one or two breaths. This style of yoga is more suitable for intermediate yoga practitioners as you need to be more knowledgeable of the asanas to keep up. Vinyasa yoga increases blood flow and works the cardiovascular system to create heat.
